Bill mocks Liam, saying he can't achieve anything without his father's help and claims to have taught him most of his skills and given him a career. Liam resists following Bill's path and struggles with the Spencer name's meaning. He accuses Bill of compromising his values for Luna and manipulating him to keep him close. They argue over his trust fund, with Liam noting he's the only son who has stayed and endured Bill. Bill dismisses this as revisionist history, insisting he's always prioritized his sons. Frustrated with Liam, whom he calls "Mr. Waffle Man," Bill orders him to leave. As Bill exits, Liam begins grunting and twitching, his vision blurs and his eyes roll back.

Once Hope provides her explanation regarding FC, Deacon invites her to stay with him.
