Created by Lee Philip Bell and William J. Bell, the series first premiered on March 23, 1987, and has remained a fan favorite for nearly four decades. Now in its 38th year, the soap continues to thrive, averaging 3.2 million viewers in Live+7 viewing, according to CBS.
