Tamara Braun has announced her departure from Days of Our Lives. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared the news, saying: "I wish this was an April Fool’s joke, but it’s not. This is Ava’s last week on Days. Last couple of days really. Sad but true. I’ve been gone since late July of last year but you can still catch Ava on your screens until April 3rd!
I miss being with my Days pals. They are a really good group of caring individuals, and being with them was a joy.
Thanks for all the #love #kindness and #support during Ava’s latest Salem stint. 🩷"
Tamara Braun Out at Days of Our Lives!
Braun first stepped into the role of Ava Vitali in 2008, captivating viewers with the character's complex and unpredictable nature. After leaving in 2016, she made a much-anticipated return in 2020, only to depart again in 2022. Most recently, Braun reprised the role in August 2023, bringing Ava back to Salem one more time.
Fans can watch Tamara Braun's final episodes as Ava until April 3rd. Ava, being one of the most memorable and dynamic characters on Days, will certainly be missed.
