Amy asks Liz to go to bed but she’s napped out. Liz texts someone “911 Help!!” Lucas arrives, Lucas tells Amy she’s needed back at GH.

Laura holds a press conference about the Esplanade, highlighting her disagreement with Congressman Cain on its location. Although Cain helped secure funding, she notes it was frozen because of him. Cain's plan involves using eminent domain to acquire privately owned piers 55 and 56. She announces a referendum to decide the location. Boyle sarcastically questions her neutrality, but Jordan, respecting the mayor and citizens, disagrees with the decision and resigns as Deputy Mayor.

Diane and Marco arrive at Sonny’s. Sonny is surprised that he doesn’t have Jenz’s last name. Diane is taken aback by Sonny’s reaction. She didn’t know he was Sidwell’s son and is displeased. Sonny mentions the important vote, insisting they need to oppose it, but Diane believes it’s futile. You can’t fight City Hall. Sonny is aware that Drew is targeting him.

Diane's office: Jason tells Marco about the explosion at Sonny’s that injured Sonny’s son, suspecting it's no coincidence. Marco, unsure how to respond, hears Jason's warning that he's being watched.
