Tate enters Holly's room, and Doug tries to explain the situation, leading to an argument about tattling, theft, and their breakup. Doug insults Tate, who retaliates with a punch, just as Holly enters. At the DiMera mansion, Gabi encounters Kristen in the taped-off living room. Kristen questions Gabi about the shooting, suggesting she had a motive. Gabi counters that Kristen also had a motive after EJ made her mother disappear.

Brady finishes a call with Marlena as Belle wakes. He offers her coffee and informs her of EJ’s shooting and coma. Belle later visits EJ, looking at him sadly. Shawn and JJ arrive at Kristen's with a search warrant. She reluctantly lets them search her purse, where JJ finds the gun.
