Orpheus is in Marlena's room, and she questions why he isn't in prison, realizing he’s part of John's mission. As she lifts her suitcase, Orpheus pulls the trigger.  Andrew returns to find Orpheus tied up. Marlena decides to go to the facility to help search for John and leaves. Andrew calls the ISA to pick up Orpheus, but when he turns around, Orpheus has disappeared. Meanwhile, Rafe enters the DiMera home and places a microphone by a phoenix statue. EJ arrives moments later. Jada asks Belle to help get rid of EJ, but Belle initially refuses due to her recusal. Eventually, she agrees. In another scene, a man is slumped at a desk while another aims a gun at Steve, who shoots the attacker. Marlena appears, seeing the man at the desk, and gasps, "Oh my God! Is that John?"

Marlena and Steve worry about John's fate. By the episode's end, Steve encounters someone resembling John. Andrew seeks Paul's help, and spoilers hint at a confrontation with Orpheus. EJ struggles to remain silent as Belle tries to extract a confession, but he likely suspects her of recording. Kristen confronts Brady, hoping to reconcile despite past issues, but Brady may not be receptive. Jada surprises Rafe by admitting she slept with Shawn, potentially jeopardizing the wedding.
