Maggie informs Philip about the DiMera takeover, saying Victor would have been proud. Maggie demands that Vivian leave. Vivian warns Philip that if she's out, so is he, and threatens to expose everything.

Kristen points a gun at Xander and instructs him to call Mr. Shin to undo the takeover and reinstate her as the leader. Xander pauses with the phone, glances at Kristen, and firmly replies, "No." He brings up Rachel, highlighting that Rachel has a mother who would do anything for her. Kristen gradually lowers the gun, and Xander orders her to leave immediately, handing her her nameplate. Later, Xander calls to update security, and Vivian enters the room.

JJ proposes to Gabi that they should explore other potential suspects, including Gabi herself, now that Kristen has been exonerated. Gabi objects, reminding JJ of her past wrongful imprisonments, and insists she wouldn't be reckless enough to risk going back. JJ admits his hesitation but notes that she has motive, opportunity, weapon access, and lacks an alibi.
