Beyond The Gates Weekly Recap For March 10-14th
Monday, March 10th.
Vernon, Anita, Naomi, and Chelsea tag along with Dani and Jacob to the police station. Dani's getting her mug shots taken. Hayley shows up, accuses Jacob of messing with both her and Dani, and tells him to drop the charges. Meanwhile, Nicole's up on the roof with Leslie, acting like she's about to jump. Leslie, who gives a fake name, talks Nicole into coming inside for some tea. Ted then confronts Leslie, asking why she's hanging out with his wife, and she says it's payback for him ditching her for Nicole. Ted tries to smooth things over with a payoff.
Tuesday, March 11th.
After Nicole departs, Eva imagines herself in a family portrait. Ted comes in, and they talk about family life. Eva, being an only child, shares her wish for a big family, and Ted is willing to help if she needs anything. Meanwhile, Jacob and Naomi have a disagreement about her family and his job. At the police station, Jacob is introduced to his new partner, Marcel Malone, and warns him to stay out of his affairs. During the press conference, Hayley and Bill speak, with Bill accusing his ex-wife of violence and spreading falsehoods. Linda finds out that Bill is alleging Dani had a mental breakdown. Anita remains silent. Dani arrives, sits before the cameras, and speaks emotionally about her embarrassing conduct.
Wednesday, March 12th.
At Orphie Gene’s, Joey and Randy talk about how his boss manipulates clients. Randy questions Doug's importance, but his boss dismisses it. Andre goes to the hospital with photos, where Derek is brought in on a stretcher after being knocked down. Eva is thrilled about organizing a gala, but Leslie wants to use it to expose Nicole and Ted, which Eva opposes. At the casino, Doug is surprised when Joey lends Randy money, which he quickly loses. At the club, Diego confronts Vanessa for flirting, resulting in a slap. Martin finds out Smitty is still looking for a job. Smitty tells Samantha and Tyrell he wants to go back to work as they no longer need him hovering.
Thursday, March 13th.
Vernon and Anita enjoy a meal at Orphie Gene's, celebrating Nicole's service award. Vernon receives distressing news. At home, Dani looks at Bill’s Instagram, leading to a confrontation with Naomi. Leslie, disguised as a server, is confronted by Eva and is addressed as Sherry by the catering chief. Ted warns Leslie not to cause trouble. Vernon questions Martin about his presidential ambitions, and Martin insists he wasn't hiding it. Nicole gives a speech, regrets Kat's absence, and shares a kiss with Ted. Leslie daydreams but is escorted out for neglecting duties, with Eva thanked for reporting the issue.
Friday, March 14th.
Kat returns from her trip and admires her mother’s award. She sets up a romantic dinner and urges her mom to visit the grandparents before texting Tomas. Tomas arrives, and they dine together. Kat reveals she’s waiting for the right guy to lose her virginity. At Garland Memorial, Ashley helps Derek to bed as Andre arrives to take his photo for the Washington Record. Derek is unenthusiastic, but Ashley is thrilled. A woman enters, thanking Derek for saving her baby’s life, and shows him her cat. Derek modestly says he was just doing his job. Dani visits The Hamilton house, startled by George, the security guard. She asks for the house code, promising it’ll be their secret. Drunk, she wanders the house, breaks a wedding photo, and drinks more wine on the sofa.
