On Wednesday, April 9th, Days of Our Lives star Raven Bowens took to Instagram to mark a major milestone—four years since she walked into Burbank Studios as a nervous newcomer stepping into the role of Chanel Dupree.
4 Years Of Raven Bowens As Chanel Dupree!
In her heartfelt (and hilarious!) post, Raven recalled that whirlwind first day: she cried, kissed a girl (@lindsbleepbloop), kissed a boy, yelled at a TV icon (@jackeeharry), and even met the man she’d go on to marry twice on-screen—@carsonboatman—after breaking up with his twin sister first, of course! 😂
She filmed 15 episodes in her debut week and credits @gloriagiffordhollywood and @theggcactingclasses for helping her through every script and scene. Now, with four years under her belt, Raven says most of the nerves are gone, but the love for the job and the fans remains as strong as ever.
“Four years have FLOWN by... the nerves are gone (most days), but the love has remained. Very grateful to everyone @dayspeacock for giving me the privilege to do what I love on TV every day for the last 4 years & all the amazing fans who don’t fast forward past my scenes,” she wrote.
